Welcome to MiPT: FitnessOnTap, an interactive fitness app for all ages and levels of fitness. Men, Women and Children can benefit from workouts that can be done anywhere without any equipment required; this is the perfect fitness app for families to have FUN and STAY ACTIVE!!!
During the Covid-19 crisis the MiPT app is FREE to use and will remain so until the end of May. Whilst access to all content is free, MiPT are supporting Shelter Homeless Charity.
Shelter works to ensure that nobody has to fight homelessness and bad housing alone and has recently appealed nationally for support.
We have provided a link to our just giving page within the app for users to make a voluntary donation should they choose to and thank those that can for making a difference.
How does it work?
Follow pre-programmed workouts, appropriate for your fitness levels and tap the screen of your iPhone or iPad and record every rep! Track your fitness and see your results at the end of a workout. Tapping the screen allows you to keep track of your progress with tangible results for your effort. At the end of a workout you will see a dropdown of your results.
KIDS love the workouts on this app. Seeing their results at the end keeps them engaged.
This app is perfect for home workouts, on the go fitness and making fitness FUN.
WHAT IS NEEDED?
The app is best used with an iPhone/iPad holder and gives the user a bigger selection of workouts and programs; however, you can get started with the ‘phone only’ workouts available by simply putting your iPhone or iPad on the floor and start tapping away. A link to the holder we suggest, that has been tried and tested, is in the ‘settings’ section of the app.
WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT?
Tapping the screen leads to a more interactive workout, registers your efforts and targets muscles otherwise missed with standard bodyweight movements. The focus tapping creates makes for a more immersive training experience meaning that time passes more easily and you push yourself harder leading to faster results!
FEATURES:
Sections for WOMEN, MEN and KIDS in the workout area allow users to choose, follow and build their own workouts.
Choose from a male or a female trainer in the ‘settings’ section.
The app also features a variety of training programmes running for up to 12 weeks that organises your workouts daily and guarantees results at the end.
Most of the workouts are short in duration between 7&20 minutes making daily exercise that much more achievable.
Simply pick either a workout or a program and follow the workouts and tap to record your efforts.
Push notifications for your fitness program will keep you on track and make sure you never miss a workout.
If you want to extend workouts there is no limit to what the user decides to do in a day. Pick one workout and then pick another from the multiple workouts to choose from.

Tapping is entirely unique to the MiPT app which also challenges balance and co-ordination and has proven to engage younger users for longer.
Registering each repetition with a ‘Tap’ means that your workouts are measureable and personal bests can be set and automatically recorded in the ‘activity’ area.
Programmes and workouts have been designed with the right amount of reps, rest and duration so will provide the appropriate workout for your level.
MiPT is supported by Apple Health and works with iPhone, iPad and Apple-watch.
If you do not have and iPad/iPhone holder there are plenty of workouts and programmes to get you started in the ‘Phone Only’ categories. Simply put your phone on the floor and start tapping away!!!!
